The Heart In Hand Initiative (HIHI), is a charitable group formed by a bunch of friends who decided to turn their charitable intentions into action. It all started in August 2010, when a serious discussion on moral development and social responsibility popped up during a teh tarik session. It was then discovered that they all shared the same vision in being able to give back to society and decided to take it upon themselves to turn those thoughts into a reality.
Armed with only motivation and good intentions, the group set out on their first charity project, Rumah Titian Kaseh (RTK) Charity Drive, which turned out to be a success. Motivated by the support and inspired by the smiles at RTK, the group decided to carry on with their charitable projects under the name Heart in Hand Initiative.
